November Prayer Letter
Gospel Conversations

“I don’t care, I do what makes me happy.” John believes there is a God, but all the disagreement among theists leaves him apathetic and focused on his own pleasure. Tony said he believes in some afterlife, but also said he believes Jesus came and “saved us from ourselves.” The lack of continuity in those two things left me (Davy) puzzled. “It’s crazy that you came up and talked with me today.” Melissa, a law student, recently gave her life to Christ but wondered if there was any Christian presence in the seemingly spiritually dark law department. Jadyn (pictured above, left) and I (Melissa) were able to encourage her and give her tools to share her faith with her fellow law students. “Is it all going to be ok? What’s the plan?” This was Tina at Hastings College’s response to “if you could ask God one question, what would it be?” Our current societal realities are increasing anxiety levels across the board and particularly in this next generation. We keep moving toward them with the hope of Jesus’ offer of salvation. By God’s grace, over five students have expressed they want to surrender to Christ this semester. Even with Covid restricting our usual events, we are seeing students encounter the living God and be transformed by Him. Praise God that he is at work in the lives of students and that they are open to having spiritual conversations. And praise God for student leaders like Jadyn and Wendy (pictured above, right) who are willing to take time out of their day to go with us to share the good news of the Gospel.
Cardboard Testimonies
UNL students have been sharing how God has transformed their lives on social media. Praise God they are using their stories for his glory!
Prayer Requests
Many students end their semester after Thanksgiving. Pray for them as they face an extra long winter break.
Davy’s grandpa passed away last week. Pray for Davy’s family as they grieve and for us as we travel to the funeral.
Pray for Melissa’s dad who was diagnosed with lymphoma in September and currently undergoing chemo. He is responding to treatment but it has been a long, hard road so far.
How can we pray for you? Go to our About page and let us know!
Life Lately

Marshal turned 2 last month! He is full of joy and loves all sports related activities.
We've really enjoyed fall around here: Halloween parades, the pumpkin patch, decorating Halloween cookies, carving pumpkins, and jumping in leaf piles. Thankful for some beautiful fall days and good friends to share them with.
