Fall Getaway
The last weekend in September, we held our annual Fall Getaway student retreat. This year we had the opportunity to host the event with all of the Cru campus teams in Missouri and Kansas and held the event just outside of Kansas City! This conference is always a student and staff favorite. We had 62 Nebraska students join us. Over the course of the weekend, students had the opportunity to hear from a local Reverend and receive Gospel-centered teaching, as well as spend ample time enjoying time in community with friends from their campuses.

There were A LOT of staff kids at Fall Getaway. Our boys had a blast hanging with friends, riding scooters, and being outdoors.
Crepes and Catechism
I hosted a women’s night in our home. In addition to cooking mounds and mounds of crepes I taught on the first question of the Heidelberg catechism which asks “What is your only hope in life and death?" The catechism answers “I am not my own, but belong—body and soul in life and in death—to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.” Today’s students desperately need to be reminded of this message. It was a joy to walk them through Galatians 3 and remind them of their identity in Christ and encourage them to rest in the grace that God provides through Jesus. Pray they walk in the grace and rest He provides.
Prayer Requests
A beloved team member is moving for her husband’s job. Pray for our team as we adjust to her absence and pray for her transition to a new role.
Praise God that our trip to Ivory Coast was a huge success. We can't wait to share more details with you in our next letter. In the meantime, pray for the excitement from the trip to generate interest in summer mission.
